How To Support SA 2011 Tour

There are several ways you can become involved in supporting our tour to South Africa in 2011.

Financial

We are always very appreciative of those who are prepared to make a financial donation.

However we are looking for people and companies that are prepared to sponsor individual aspects of our development work.

Team Kits Sponsor:

We plan to play 5 or 6 developing teams and would like to assist them by donating a complete playing kit. The cost of such kit is £500. The kits will be manufactured in South Africa so not only are we supporting the individual teams but also supporting the local South African economy.

School Tag Sponsor:

We do not yet know how many primary schools we will be able to support with tag rugby starter kits whilst in South Africa. That is very much dependent on the numbers of sponsors we can attract to this aspect of our development work. The cost of supporting a primary school in this way is £200. Like the playing kits above all the Tag Rugby Starter Kits are manufactured in Cape Town by a project called Learn to Earn, which is a Non-Profit organisation that takes unemployed people off the streets and teaches them a skill that enables them to start their own businesses.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Tour Playing Kit please contact me. Like everything else we are doing the Kit will be manufactured in South Africa so supporting the local economy and of course will be ‘green’ as we will not be shipping it halfway round the world but will be collecting it in Cape Town when we arrive.
